"It is rare that people do what they say, but Jane is one of these people. My newly-bought flat needed a complete makeover. I had a set budget, a six-week deadline and no idea what I wanted. It didn't help that I work in Leeds during the week but my weekends are spent in the North-West with my family.
Jane was given an hour-long briefing by my wife and then set to work. She organised the repainting of the flat; electrics; Scotchguarding; installation of bookshelves, lighting, moving radiators - the works. She kept us informed throughout of what she was doing and when, including emailing us pictures of furniture and lamps to make sure that there weren't any nasty surprises. My flat was finished on time and within budget and what's more it looks fantastic. I have never been more pleased to write a letter of endorsement. As an incredibly busy Mother of two with a full-time job, finding time to do anything around the house has been impossible for a few years. Jane and her team have been a complete life-saver for me. Remarkably we stayed pretty much in line with the budget we had set aside - any concerns over spending more than we would have done if we had done the work ourselves were completely removed.The end result was we managed to go away on holiday for 2 weeks and come home to what seemed to be a completely new house!!! Following a flyer being posted through my door, I contacted Jane hoping that she would be able to help me and my hubby completely redecorate our lounge – we both felt pretty clueless at where to start and to be honest definitely did not have the time nor inclination to spend our valuable free time falling out whilst shopping!
Initially I met with Jane to get an idea of whether we could really afford an interior designer……but within a very short time I felt happy and confident that Jane would work to our budget and give good quality products and finishes.
The whole experience was totally pain free – no shopping – no flicking through the yellow pages to find good and honest workmen such as:
Electricians
Carpet fitters
Fire retailers/installers
Decorators
Curtain makers
Furniture retailers etc
The “hardest” part was going through ideas at home (over a glass of wine!) and discussing my choices with Jane. She guided me along the way so I knew I was making the right ones. She arranged for all the workmen to arrive and complete their work and oversaw everything in a relatively short space of time (about a week to completely redo the lounge) The room looks absolutely fantastic and I’m thrilled with everything.
Jane co-ordinated everything – it was fantastic. And, I honestly believe that the whole transformation hasn’t’ cost me anymore than if I’d have shopped around myself.
I would do it all again!

I contacted Jane Edwards at Margot and Miller recently when I was moving into new shop premises. I had two weeks to transform a building that was previously used as an office into a smart, modern, eye catching flower shop. My brain offered nothing so I handed over the reins to Jane. I am so glad I did, Jane took over every aspect of the shop fit. She liaised with joiners, decorators, electricians and signwriters. She chose the furniture, collected it and had it built up. I had input when I wanted it but felt no need whatsoever to interfere with Jane’s plans. I’m so glad I didn’t, the end result is everything I wanted and more. I can’t recommend Jane's services enough. The shop has created a stir in the area and gives exactly the impression I wanted to give.
